Dr. Brian Norton was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University, where he earned a degree in Animal Science and a concentration in Dairy Production. From a young age, Dr. Norton has had a deep compassion for all animals, and has a unique ability to connect with creatures big and small. Becoming a veterinarian has been his lifelong dream. Dr. Norton attended veterinary school on the beautiful island of Grenada while his wife simultaneously attended the school of medicine. There he spent three years in the classroom as well as gaining hands-on experience working with local farms and participating in spay and neuter programs for the island’s stray animals. He then completed his clinical rotations at the University of Pennsylvania, where he quickly realized that small animal practice was the perfect fit for him. He has particular interests in preventative care, internal medicine, and general surgery. Dr. Norton is incredibly excited to meet all of his new patients and looks forward to forming lasting bonds with each of them. His goal is to provide compassionate, high-quality care while building trust with both pets and their owners. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, running, and spending time with his family – including his wife, Jordan, their newborn daughter, Drew, and their beloved pets: Great Dane, Deuce, and Morkie, Jax.
