Dr. Marissa Berman is a board-certified Veterinary Dentist™ and is currently participating in a fellowship training program in veterinary Oral and Maxillofacial surgery (OMFS). She discovered her love of veterinary medicine, and dentistry in particular, while volunteering with a boarded veterinary dentist in high school. She earned her veterinary degree at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine in California.

Dr. Berman completed a one-year rotating internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in Plainview, NY and continued as an emergency clinician for five years. Dr. Berman completed her residency in Dentistry and Oral Surgery at a private practice in Northern California in 2020. After moving back to the east coast, Dr. Berman worked at Veterinary Dentistry Specialists for over two years.

When she is not working, Dr. Berman enjoys being by the water, traveling and spending time with her family, including a Pit-Bull mix named Tater Tot.
